Odyssey Charter School's Before and After Care Program
Familiar faces, a nurturing environment, and a caring attitude are little things that make up the Before and After Care community at Odyssey Charter School.
We meet the needs of our families by providing convenient, quality childcare for Grades K-9.
A qualified childcare teacher provides our extended day students with the continuation of guidance and attention they receive daily in their OCS classrooms.
Each day, supervised homework time and age appropriate indoor and/or outdoor activities will be a part of your child's balanced, extended day experience. A small sample of the children's work is the Greek Mythology book that the 5th and 6th graders wrote and illustrated with the supervision of their teacher, Mr. Babis Anastasiadis.
Also, a healthy snack will be provided in the afternoon.
2016-2017 OCS Childcare Enrollment Form PDF File (can be completed digitally)
We have 160 spaces ONLY. Openings will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
Please contact Ms. Sani Chalima with questions concerning the OCS Before/After Care program and/or to enroll. For any financial questions conserning the program, please contact Ms. Mary Righos, ext. 475.
In an effort to make things easier and more convenient for you, we have set up ONLINE PAYMENTS for your Before and After Care payments!
If you are already using MySchoolAccount for your cafeteria purchases, then you will be familiar with the site. It is under the Food Service Point of Sale system and we were able to add “menu items” to cover Before and After Care. You will simply do a “PRE-ORDER” for your payment and your account will be credited. You must PRE-ORDER for childcare and not simply deposit funds into your account, as this will just put money into your child’s meal account and not Child care.
Note – when you see the “calendar” for Child Care, you will see the items listed in each day of the month. You would only need to select and add to your cart one day out of the month to be charged for the entire month.
This method will help streamline the payment issues and we hope that you will take advantage! We decided to wait until January 1 to implement in order to give you and us time to transition. If you wish to go ahead and pay for January prior to Jan 1, you can log in at any time to give it a try. You will still receive statements and invoices, but you will also be able to see your payments and history online with this system. Of course, you can still send in checks/cash, but we would prefer you to use the online option if possible.
If you are not familiar, please go to our Food Servcice page to see instructions for setting up an online payment account.
You will need your child’s student ID, which can be provided if needed.
