Parent/Teacher Organization


The PTO’s mission is to promote open communication and understanding between parents and staff of Odyssey Charter School. Our efforts serve to enhance and maximize the education of every child while aiding them in achieving their highest potential. The OCS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is made up of parents, like you, who give their time and talents for the betterment of our children through a mutually beneficial partnership with the staff of OCS.

The PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in classroom setting, holds fund-raisers for supplemental educational materials and experiences, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.

It is our belief that the team effort of a parent teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.

PTO Membership/Volunteer Form

The OCS PTO sponsors many events and activities throughout the year. Please consider volunteering, and becoming a part of one of the many events planned. This is a great way to meet and know other parents. All OCS families are encouraged to join.

PTO Events

Volunteering can be both rewarding and enjoyable especially when you are working for Odyssey Charter School. The Odyssey Charter School PTO encourages parent volunteers to help support our students and our school.

PTO Volunteer Opportunities

PTO meetings are held in the Lower School (Building 20) multi-purpose room on the first Wednesday of the month at 7pm. PTO dates: 9/5, 10/3, 11/7, 12/5, 2/6, 3/6, 4/3, 5/1. Note there is no meeting in January.

Childcare

We would love to have you attend our meetings! Childcare will be available for children ages 3 and up in a classroom. You must drop your child off in the classroom and pick them up immediately following the meeting. Drop off begins at 6:50pm.
