ClassLink Portal

We are excited to announce the launch of ClassLink, a Single Sign On (SSO) portal purchased by the DOE to replace its current Information Management System (IMS), a portal the DOE uses to deliver applications to schools and districts (such as ESchool, IEP Plus, Unit Count, PDMS, and other DOE applications). DOE licensed the free use of ClassLink to every school/district in the state, allowing them to build their own SSO subsites. Click on the button below to learn more.

Dimitri Dandolos
Board Member, AHEPA Appointee

Dimitri Dandolos is a Founding Board Member of Odyssey Charter School, where he has always volunteered his time, talents, and personal resources since the school’s inception.

On the very first day of classes in 2006, Mr. Dandolos taught Greek to Kindergarten, First, and Second grade students, an experience he counts among his favorite accomplishments. Over the
years, he has served in a variety of leadership roles, including Greek Curriculum Development, Facilities Acquisition, and Institutional Advancement. Following the passing of the school’s first
Headmaster, he served pro bono as Interim Headmaster during the 2011–2012 academic year.

Mr. Dandolos initiated and coordinated the school’s innovative models for teaching Greek in American schools, including the Foreign Language for Elementary School (FLES) program in collaboration with the State of Delaware Department of Education, and the Greek Language Immersion Program in collaboration with Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He also established partnerships with Harvard University’s Center for Hellenic Studies in Nafplio, Greece, enabling Odyssey’s participation in Harvard’s student summer program.

As Odyssey Board President (2015–2018), he oversaw the development and implementation of the school’s Strategic Plan, Facilities Master Plan, and Institutional Advancement initiatives. He
led the efforts to purchase the Barley Mill office campus, secure all required land-use permits, and obtain a $34 million tax-exempt bond to finance the acquisition and redevelopment of the
campus into a school. Under his project-management, five buildings totaling more than 300,000 square feet were retrofitted, on time and under budget, to accommodate over 2,400 students in
grades K–12.

Additional contributions include establishing Odyssey’s Transportation Department with its own bus fleet, raising over $2.5 million for campus redevelopment, and initiating the school’s
Entrepreneurship Learning Experience Program in partnership with the EntreX Lab at the University of Delaware. Also, he chaired the school’s 10th -anniversary celebrations, held in both
Ancient Olympia and Wilmington in 2016, which featured the presentation of the official Olympic Torch by two Greek national champion athletes, and included the twinning between
Odyssey and the schools of the Municipality of Ancient Olympia, Greece.

Beyond his work with Odyssey, Mr. Dandolos has more than 30 years of experience in the sustainability and environmental fields. He holds undergraduate degrees in Natural Sciences with
a concentration in Biology and has pursued graduate studies in Environmental Studies, Public Policy, and International Relations. A former collegiate and professional soccer player, he also
coached youth soccer teams to four Delaware state championships and a national ranking.

Monica Loughman
Board Member, Non-AHEPA appointee

Monica Loughman is a parent to three children, ages 13, 11 and 9.  She has been part of the Odyssey community since 2017, when her oldest started Kindergarten in the FLES program.  Her younger two children are currently enrolled in the immersion program, giving her insight into both programs. She is originally from Maryland and graduated from Salisbury University with a BSN. While she currently stays at home with her children, she previously spent 17 years as a Registered Nurse working in Neonatal Intensive Care Units in California, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware—most recently at Nemours Children’s Hospital.  Almost all her career was spent working in Level IV units, providing the most advanced and specialized care for critically ill newborns.  While she misses her career as an RN, she is thoroughly enjoying being at home with her children and the opportunity it brings to be engaged in their school functions and everyday activities.  One such opportunity came when she was a member of her children’s preschool board as a parent representative and led the school’s annual fundraising event. Monica has seen first-hand the benefits of bilingualism and the rich community involvement that Odyssey has given children and is excited to join the board to support Odyssey’s mission.

Prior to his current role, he helped grow a major e-commerce brand specializing in motor sports apparel where he worked to develop the company’s on-boarding and professional development programs. Outside of his professional roles, Joel has a passion for music and serves as the Director of Music at Immanuel Church in Wilmington; he is a vocalist, guitarist, bassist, dabbler on piano, and could probably remember a thing or two on the trombone if you asked (and provided the trombone). He also enjoys cycling, auto sports, and everything LEGO. Joel is incredibly pleased with the education his girls have received at Odyssey thus far and is excited to partner with the Board in its ongoing efforts to bolster the growth and success of Odyssey in the years to come.
