Fundraising Committee
Meets throughout the summer discussing and planning the fundraising events for the coming school year. This is the place to bring ideas to the table and discuss new initiatives.
Box Tops for Education
Volunteers are needed a few times during the school year to count and cut Box Tops and Campbell's labels collected in classrooms. Volunteers are also needed to help with party arrangements for classrooms that bring in the most Box Tops.

School Store
The OCS store sells items such as water bottles, magnets, lunch bags, and more. Items are sold throughout the year upon request or 30 minutes before each PTO meeting. Volunteers work with the committee chair to sell items at PTO meetings.
Used Uniform Sales
The PTO sells gently used school uniforms for $5.00. Items are sold throughout the year upon request or 30 minutes before each PTO meeting. Volunteers work with the committee chair to sell items at meetings.
5K Race/Walk Fundraiser
AHEPA (the founding organization of OCS) organizes this event with support from OCS school administration, teachers, and the PTO. OCS volunteers handle event setup, register runners, organize kids' games, serve food, and assist with cleanup.
Scholastic Book Fair
Twice a year the PTO organizes and runs a book fair using Scholastic Books. Books are displayed giving children an opportunity to review and create wish lists. Volunteers are needed to work the book fair during school hours and evenings as cashiers and children's helpers.
Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week
This weeklong event celebrates the teachers and administration of OCS. Volunteers help plan special events such as breakfast, lunch, and gifts. Volunteers are needed both to plan events and help execute them during the week.
Paving the Way Fundraiser
This fundraiser runs twice a year, giving families two opportunities to donate or spread payments. Volunteers work with the chairperson to organize and distribute forms, collect envelopes, and maintain results for all families to see.
Picture Day
Volunteers are needed at both schools for school picture day and retake day. Volunteers assist teachers with students waiting for pictures and help photographers as needed.
Library Volunteers (Upper School)
Volunteers are needed at the Upper School library to assist the librarian with book collection, distribution, and organization.
Field Day
Volunteers work with school staff to plan day-of events, maintain volunteer sign-ups, handle day-of check-in, and assist with additional responsibilities as needed.
Pretzel Tuesdays
Pretzels are pre-ordered in fall and winter. Every Tuesday throughout the school year, pre-ordered pretzels are served at both Lower and Upper Schools. Teachers distribute pretzels to students.
