Legal Basis
House Bill No. 21 requires that financial reports be posted on all public school web pages. The format of these reports has been established by the Delaware Department of Education.
- Delaware Title 14, Chapter 1, Section 122(b)(11) establishes the required standardized financial reporting format.
- Delaware Title 14, Chapter 15, Sections 1508 and 1509 require uniformity and transparency in financial recording and bookkeeping practices.
- DOE Regulation 735 governs standardized financial reporting and transparency for all charter schools.
