Odyssey Charter School's comprehensive counseling program supports student development in academic, social, emotional, and post-secondary readiness areas. Our team of experienced counselors is here to help every student succeed.

About Our Counseling.
The Counseling Program at Odyssey Charter School is based on the American School Counselor Association's National Standards and facilitates student development in three key content areas.
Academic & Career Readiness
Guiding students through their academic journey and preparing them for their future career paths.
Post-Secondary Planning
Providing pathways and dedicated planning for what arrives after high school graduation.
Social & Emotional Growth
Equipping students with essential life skills, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills.
Our program is child-centered, preventative, and developmental, helping students understand themselves, build positive relationships, and maximize their potential.
Services We Offer.
Comprehensive counseling support tailored to meet the developmental, emotional, and academic needs of all our students.
Individual Counseling
Provided to students referred by parents, teachers, administrators, or the counselor. Parental permission is required and services are confidential. Our counselors work one-on-one with students to address personal, social, academic, and developmental needs.
Small Group Counseling
Offered throughout the school year on topics such as divorce, grief, friendship skills, self-esteem, and social skills. Student participation is confidential and requires parental permission.
Developmental Guidance Lessons
Designed to assist students with their personal, social, academic, and career development. These lessons help prepare students for grade transitions and build essential life skills.
Family Counseling
Meetings are available upon parent request to support family communication and problem-solving, bringing focus to student wellness at home and school.
Consultations and Referrals
Our counselors assist staff, families, and the community to work effectively with students. We also help families identify and access community resources when additional support is needed.
